There are many areas to consider within the contact lens fitting process. This course introduces the participant to many points of consideration faced by the eye care professional. This reader will walk through anatomical considerations, refractive errors, lens materials and many other associated reflections that are contemplated within the field of contact lenses.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to: have a solid understanding of basic anatomy related to contact lens wear; discern who would be a viable candidate for contact lenses, and who would not; understand various corneal and lenticular astigmatism types as well as other refractive errors; be familiar with various contact lens related materials, products and concerns.
